Good Morning

I have a link to Cyndi's site that shows another "Courage" that was finished. Check it out, it looks great with the heart charm at the bottom.

I've also posted a couple of my Fall Pin Tins to my Etsy shop.

I hope everyone has a safe Halloween and keep warm.

Still working on restitching my new design, it's coming along good. Thank God for Aida cloth, it makes it easier when your eye site is aging.

Off to work with the wee little ones at day care, have a good day.

Pictures from this weekend and my new "Pin Tins"

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all your prayers. My husband is doing better than he was. We still have more doctors to go to but at least he's getting out more. The hospital still hasn't found my bag yet but I started stitching it again. I was stitching on 32ct linen and this one is on 16ct Aida cloth. I can stitch so much faster when I can see.

I have some pictures to share from this weekend. We took a walk on the cliff walk which has signs posted that you should proceed at your own risk. We did, and we collected some rose hips to dry.

I also finished 7 of my "Pin Tins". I made the leaves with wool and made the acorns with real caps and the bodies out of wool. When you open the tins there is a magnet on the inside cover for your pins or needles and the bottom of the tin is lined with wool to store floss or tiny scissors or some special treasures. I'm not going to post them onto to Etsy until Wednesday evening.

I received an email from Sally and she shared a photo of "Courage" that she made. It looks good on white and she also stitched over one. I love it and I thank her for sharing.

Well thats it for this evening, until Wednesday, have a good night, Donna

Oh No! They can't find my bag!!

Thank you for your comments. My husband has had a bone marrow infection and was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. He was sent home with a pic line in his arm so that he could have his antibiotics go directly into his vein close to his heart. He's had that at home for about 5 weeks know, but started having some pain under his arm and they had to make sure he didn't have a blood clot. He does not have a clot and he's just resting more at home. The infection is finally subsiding but it's put a burden on his liver and know we will see a liver specialist next week.
But!!! I went to the hospital to pick up my bag and they can't find it. They're not sure who said they had it, but they said they would search. They also said they would pay for my glasses if it doesn't show up. But my new design was there, and my new eye glass case. Well I guess I have to start stitching Decembers release all over again just in case it doesn't show up. I'm determined to make it no matter what. But on a good note, I took my daughter to the dentist (it's been a while since she's been - she hates the dentist) and no cavities. Yeah!!
Have a great night.

Working On Wool Projects

Hi Everyone,
I’m still here. I’ve just been trying to make a bunch of wool accessories for my Etsy shop. I’m working on some eyeglass cases, some watering can pincushions, some tin needle cases, and some small bird ornaments for the Christmas tree. I’ve also been working on my new design for late November release. I was 2/3 of the way finished, and I lost my stitching bag.
We took my husband to the hospital the other night and while waiting in the emergency room I was stitching. I guess when it was time to leave I left my bag there. I am never like that. I am always so careful. I had my new design, 2 pairs of reading glasses, and my new eyeglass case that I just made with 3D flowers and leaves. I have been anxiously waiting to hear, and the hospital finally said someone turned it into the lost and found. So I'm on my way to pick up my bag, which I will never leave again. I think I’ll tie it onto my wrist.
Have a good day and keep stitching, Donna

New Design Picture "Around The Robins Nest"

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your comments on the free design. If anyone finishes one, and would like to share their photo please email me and I will post them. Feel free to change the colors. I was also thinking of adding some curly yarn on top of the lamb. Just be creative.
I’m posting a picture of “Around The Robins Nest”. I finished the frame. It should be out to market by next weekend. Have a great autumn day and I’ll post more tomorrow.

Free Chart "Courage"

Well here’s my freebie chart and this is why I made it.

I’m one of those people that ask for signs to make sure I’m doing the right thing, or maybe just to know that God is hearing me.

I had a year of finding pennies everywhere:
I’ve had my time of seeing owls everywhere:
When I made “In My Fathers House” I read those 2 verses everywhere.
Now all of a sudden it’s “Courage”.

I hear about it on TV, in church, and in books. I’m not searching for it but it’s just showing up. I’m not sure if it means that I will need courage in the near future. I certainly know I have it with everything I’ve come across on my journey. Maybe I’ll need more or maybe I need to pass this on.

So this is what I’m doing. This is a reminder of what we need when we face our trials on life’s journey, especially someone with cancer or a life threatening disease. So please make this as a reminder for someone that needs courage.

Pass it on.

When I see the lamb I am reminded of how precious we all are to God, how he would leave everything and come to save just one of us.

I made mine into a bookmark but it can also hang as a small banner. So please feel free to change the colors, I think it would look great on white and different shades of pink.

Just go to the top corner of the chart and when the icons show up, press save, save as a photo and then you can go to your photos and print it from there. I hope this works for you.
