  19. Oh, what a neat challenge! I love the Tudor/Jacobean eras - they fascinate me and I read about them whenever I can.
When I saw your design (which I absolutely LOVE), I immeadiately thought of the symbolism it represents. (King James is rolled into all this - hence the "Jacobean" link to describing the essence of your design), but that would take too long to describe.
The thistle, in ancient Celtic symbolism, represents nobility of character, while the deer are from the fairy realm and, in Celtic lore, represent magic and spirit. From all this, I came up with "Noble Spirit".
    WHEW! That was fun.

I would like to submit BOUNDLESS JOY. Everything about the design is terrific, the colors, the pattern and the "feel". The buck himself can jump and play and go anywhere he desires (Boundless) and the feel is delightful (Joy).
This pattern would be wonderful to do. It definitely brings a feeling of happiness with it.
Alternatively it could also be titled BOUNDLESS DELIGHT.
Thank you for your consideration, Betsy Minor, I stitch with Country Cupboard.

  23. What about Stag Hill or Summer at Stag Hill?

  24. The deer symbolizes fertility and the growth rates. Appears as the mediator between heaven and earth, as a symbol of the rising sun and rises to its zenith. In your embroidery, the deer appears next to a pea plant ( I think) where all stages is shown: flower, pods, peas. So I propose as name: cycle of life
