Celebrating "Serenity Harbor" with Denise

I wanted to share what "Denise" shared on Instagram the other day...
She finished "Serenity Harbor" and I fell in LOVE with the finish and the water,
ESPECIALLY the Fabric she picked and how the blue and white looks perfect for the sky!!
The linen she used was 28ct Cross Winged’s Sky linen by Cross Winged Collection.
She also changed the water a bit and used Theadworx 01056, DMC 3809,

Here is a Link to her Instagram to check out more on the Post !!

Thank you to everyone that stitched this design and is still stitching it today,
💓
Have a good weekend

Betsy is sharing her finish of Serenity Harbor

The piece was stitched by Betsy Minor who is a client and stitcher at Country Cupboard in Orland Park, IL. She changed the colors of the flowers and large house to yellow which complements the piece nicely. The "finishing" was done by Karen Jablonski of "Averyclaire NeedleArts" . She added a matching cotton backing, handmade cording and hand painted dowel and finials.
And I have to say it looks beautiful....I love the changes and the finish with a dowel hanger is wonderful....Thank you Betsy & Karen for sharing.

A SHARE FROM CARRIE

Happy Friday,
I have been busy stitching and I am late on July's free "Affirmation" but it is ready to go and so is the August affirmation word :)
It is just so hot up here in the office. No air conditioning and I am working on fall things just anxiously waiting for the crisp fall air and those beautiful fall colors, but I am missing the wonders of summer :(
Busy working on the newsletter with the two new words "Strong" and "Compassionate"
I will also share a new wool table mat that I am working on for the fall.
But just needed to share some work from Carrie.
She was kind enough to send me a picture of her "Serenity Harbor"
Just wonderful and the framing is perfect. It's so big :)
Thank you Carrie!!

A photo share from Barbara of Serenity Harbor

I have a photo to share from Barbara, she wasn't able to share it herself on the blog so I am doing it for her :)
She decided to change the bird as it was to light on the fabric and searched through her stash for other colors and found a variegated blue and used it. She tore out all of the vine and leaf colors as they looked to golden and brown on her grey fabric. They are darker, don't pop as much, but at least they go better with her red roses. She is doing this over one on 32ct . She has done a lot of frogging as she has changed colors but is very happy with it so far!!
Looks beautiful
and thank you Barbara for sharing
