Seaside Alphabet Sampler Stitch A Long

 Welcome to the "Seaside Alphabet Sampler" page

Here I will share lots of information for you on this Seaside design.

Lets take a journey exploring these Child like alphabet blocks.

Each one of these blocks has a seaside theme

 to remind us of those lazy hazy days of summer.

I can feel the breeze and smell the fresh ocean air.

I can hear the pounding of the surf and the children playing.

Playing with the Beach balls and volleyball in the warm sand,

 having watermellon for a treat.

We're looking out at the waters for the fish and dolphins,

 and of course seeing all of the beautiful sailboats sailing along.

All this while you sit on the beach and 

work on your favorite past time...X stitching.

At the end of the day how about a little bit of relaxing

 with a trip to the ice cream stand, and then

take a stroll home by the harbor listening to  

the sound of the seagulls looking for their dinner.

The stitch count for the whole design is 168 x 293

14ct Aida or 28ct linen over (2)        12 x 21

16ct Aida or 32ct linen over (2)        10.5 x 18.3

18ct Aida or 36ct linen over (2)        9.3 x 16.3

20ct Aida                                           8.4 x 14.6

40ct linen over (1)                            4.2 x 7.3

The stitch count for each square is 42 x 42.....
I will be stitching some of these on 20ct Aida...so my design will measure 2 x 2

I checked for the amount of fibers needed to complete this design based on 14ct Aida. 

For most of them only 1 skein of floss is needed

 except *502 will need 3 skeins 

      and *503 will need 2 skeins.

 Starting on July 29 with Section #1

There will be 7 Sections or Months for the Stitch A Long

with 4 Letters for each month

The last section will have 2 letters plus the 2 corner designs.

I will be providing PDF's for the Stitch A Long at $10.00 each month

If you like hard copies please check with your local Needlwork Shop for those.
