Hi everyone, Here is a photo of my new design. I'm not finished stitching the model yet, but almost there. I thought I would share a picture early.

Seeds Of Kindness

Here is a pic of "Seeds Of Kindness" I used R & R "Woodlawn" fabric over 2 on 32ct . DMC 349, 361, and 3371. Weeks Dye Works "Fire" and "Taupe". And Anchor Floss 681. The stitch count is 125 X 148. I have been stitching this piece for years and finally finished. I just kept putting it aside for the right time and I guess this is it. Everyone have a Happy Easter. God bless, Donna

13th Colony over 1 by Petra

Hi eveyone, sorry I haven't blogged in a while but things going on at home that are keeping me busy. I received an email from Petra the other week and she shared her photo of 13th Colony Bay 1, 2, and 3 over one. It's just great and she said I could share her photo with you. What a great job, maybe I can finish mine some day, I guess I would have to set aside a night each week just for that piece. Well I also finished "Seeds of Kindness". I am finishing the frame today and should have a good photo sometime tomorrow to share with you. Until then enjoy the day. Donna

Pineapple Estate

Hi, I finished Pineapple Estate. It will be released in about a week to the distributors and then on to the stores. I also finished Box Of Spring, I have to frame it and do the directions but that should be out soon also. I am having a very cold winter here. I pray for an early spring, maybe that's why I finished Box Of Spring so soon. Some mornings I hear the birds outside and I am so thankful for them. Anxiously waiting for there full return, I just love their songs. It reminds me of my childhood when we had so many birds at my grandmothers. She used to feed them which is something I should do but we have to many squirrels. Have a great day, Donna

Hi everyone, I have been busy stitching. Almost done Pineapple Estate.
I've also been working on a design for a shop called "A stitchers Garden". I will be giving a class there in March and had to finish up the model. Here is a pic of it. I think I need to add something to the top so I only took a picture of the bottom half. I think I might add a dragonfly to the top. What A Good Read

I just finished reading a book called "In His Steps" by Charles M Sheldon. It was a really great book to read and asks the question "What would Jesus Do?" I am on my spiritual quest as I am sure many of us are. Always wanting to know more and always searching for answers. Well I made up a quick free chart that can be stitched to place in your home to remind you to ask yourself this question.

All Finished

Hi , I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Holiday. I finally finished my Christmas stockings. I only had time to take a picture of one of them and here it is. What an evening we are having here. More snow and ice. It's a good night for stitching, just the cat and I are home and the cat is snoozing, what a life. Donna

What I've been up to

Here are some pictures of the 24 reindeer that I made from corks. They look so cute all together, like a herd. I also am posting a pic of one of the Christmas stockings I'm making for my family. I still have to work on the hats and scarfs. I'll update you with a finished picture as soon as I can. Who knows it may be on Christmas Eve, I don't seem to be sewing very fast today.I still have some last minute shopping to do and then plenty of things to wrap.
