This is one of my new designs called "A Little Blue For You" . It will be available for shops that get automatic sfrom me by next Thursday. I am also making up kits for the placemat and cork pin cushion that you can see in the first photo. This will be available from my Etsy shop only in a couple of weeks. I will write more in a couple of days but Bill has more doc appointments so we are busy with those, miss all of you

Peeks @ what i've been stitching

Hello Fellow Bloggers
I feel terrible that I haven't updated my blog on a very regular basis lately. You've all been so faithful following me so I apologize for seemingly neglecting you.
Does anyone else feel like we just missed March in a BLUR?.
Hubby Bill spent most of the month in the hospital but things seem to be coming together and will hopefully be heading in a positive direction after his surgery at Mass Eye & Ear next week.
Other than playing nurse I've been busy as a bee preparing the classes for Celebration of Needlework at the end of April.
I changed my Round Robin idea from a flower pin cushion to a pear pin cushion. I do like it!
I'm also stitching in a dashing effort to finish my next release. (the first of "Birds of a Funky Feather")
And I am getting a design ready to go to my helping stitcher April.
In short BUSY BUSY BUSY......
Next Challenge....TAXES.. oh no the 15th is just around the corner!!!......YUK

A few pictures to share

I went to Yankee Cross Stitch the other day and changed my display table from Christmas to flowers.
I have on display the Funky Flowers and a huge wool flower pin cushion that I made.

I also finished designing Stitch An Inch Spring and almost finished with Blueberry Hill. They should be available by the end of next week.

I will post peeks soon but for today I am sharing the photos from Yankee of the new display and the huge wool pin cushion.

Oh and yes my  Christmas Cactus is in bloom and Tobey posed for me so I could show how big he has gotten since Christmas :)

New Home For Funky Flowers over (1)

I finished the framing for the 5 Funky Flowers that were stitched over (1) with the frames from Old Colonial. I needed them to be all together so that I could send them on trunk shows and not get lost. I hope you like it.

My mother just happened to find this frame for me which had a small inspirational poster in it. I took the poster out and went to the paper store to find something special  that would go with the colors. I needed it plain so it would not take away from the stitched flowers. I found a green(Just the right shade) and a brown corrugated cardboard that matched the brown in the frames from Olde Colonial. I glued the framed pieces down and thought that the in between spaces were to plain. So I got out my handy friend "the Wool" and I cut some circles, gathered them, stuffed and added lines around them. I also cut out leaves and stitched lines for the veins and of course dots for the theme of all the Funky Flowers. Then I glued them down and I am happy with it.
So just an idea to spice up some framing.

We are waiting for our snow storm. We had snow before Halloween and then we have had no snow until tonight (so they say). Getting things from the store that we need and then I am getting ready to have a stitching fest. Yeah. But I have become addicted to a game on my Nook. I am making a zoo(I purchased the game on my Nook for my grandson but when he is not visiting he needs someone to take care of all of those animals, right ).  I need to stop :(
