Chart Giveaway, Just Cross Stitch Halloween issue out, Etsy update

The Just Cross Stitch Halloween issue is out and I have an ornament in it. So here is a picture of m ornament and you can purchase the issue for the directions plus there are a whole lot more design from other designers that are wonderful.

I also have a picture for you of some things that I have made. Just getting ready for fall. They are on my porch that I am making into a small studio for classes and a shop. I will not have permanent hours yet but I am planning a Holiday open house for the Thanksgiving weekend. :)

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Hubby is doing well today. Prayers are powerful :)

I finished "Nantucket Village #2" and also "Birds Of A Funky Feather # 9" 

Here are photos of my progress. I do not have much time to type today, many errands to do and paper work :( I do not like paper work!!

It is beautiful here today, it feels like fall is here early.

Birds Of A Funky Feather 1- 9 

Class In Raymond Maine for the EGA group

I had a great time teaching in Raymond for the EGA group. The students had a choice of "Sandy" bird or "Morris" the owl. Hubby came for support, we got lost :(

Everyone was so nice and it was one of those very hot and humid days and the AC was refreshing!

Lunch was from The Good Life Market and my sandwich was to die for. It was the "The Godmother" and it was the best. Suzanne arranged the event and I am thankful to her for it.  But the next day I did sleep very late (so tired). The hot ride home did me in :( 

So here are some photos of the event, sorry I do not know everyone's name.

I will have the directions for the birds on Etsy soon. I am asking for opinions, do you like hard copies for directions from snail mail or do you like PDF files, Just Wondering?

I have finished Birds Of A Funky Feather #9, and almost done with "Nantucket Village Series #2". they will be available soon. 

Hubby is back in the hospital and all prayers are appreciated. This is hard, and I am so thankful that I have a relationship with the Lord. He is my strength, because I do get tired.

I just want to tell you that I am still here

So frustrating..........

My pictures are gone again this morning. WOW

"Nantucket Village Series #1" finished and "Grow Your Faith" framed

I am doing a happy dance because I finished the first one in the series for the "Nantucket Village"
Here is a picture of it framed and another picture of it along with the front extension if you are stitching all 5 together :)))

 The directions for the first in the series will come with the front extension in the pattern pack :)

Grow Your Faith is framed with a simple white frame 8 x 10 that I picked up at Walmart.  I was on my way to visit hubby, that was the closest store and it works!!

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts for my husband , he is feeling better and should be home soon.

Things that did not work out as planned

I have not kept you up to date about Molly (the robin in the nest) because she left home:(
A couple days after the first pic that I posted she was gone along with one egg. She left the other 2.
My landlord downstairs said that last year she did the same thing. Starts her nest and sits for days and then leaves and leaves her eggs behind.
And then I really tried to get the kits ready for Etsy this weekend but hubby had an appt for surgery to have his port that is in his chest fixed because of a blood clot. So he was a bit nervous about that and when the surgery came yesterday there were so many things that just gave kinks the day. Things do not go as planned and he is the hospital for a week. Just have to go with the flow , leave things in Gods hands and one step at a time. So today I will work on those kits and directions for "Grow Your Faith". Hopefully that is in the plan.
I am sure you all know how those things go.
I am stitching "Nantucket Village Series" too. Hopefully I will share a pic with you tomorrow

Free Chart For Prayer

I watched the news last night and I am so saddened with all of the things going on and especially the tornados affecting all of the people in the Midwest. I made a chart similar to this one years ago for sending help to Haiti. I sent the money from the sales of the chart to the American Red Cross. But at this time in so many lives money is not as plentiful as it once was, so many people  feel that they can not help those in need. But I believe that prayer can move mountains, so I have made this small reminder for you to stitch and hang in your home that PRAYER is what we can do. So send money if you can, go there to volunteer, and especially PRAY for them to have comfort and peace in these times.
