Funky Flowers are BACK In TIME for Spring Planting!!

I am sitting here listening to the birds singing their morning praises!!

It is one of the best sounds to me 💓

ONE of my other favorites are FLOWERS

so I thought I would re-introduce some of my Funky Flowers.

There are 24 of them.

The stitch count is 42 x 70 

If stitched on 28ct linen over (2) or 14ct Aida each would measure 3 x 5

This would fit great in a 4 x 6 frame.

I also have quite a few layouts available

 for you if you would like to stitch 3, 12, or 24 flowers as a group.

Good evening, I have finished stitching "Coastal Sage"

I do have to finish with the framing 

and then I can take some photos to share.

That is on Wednesdays list of To-Do's

and

I started stitching "Gigi at the (Seashore or the Beach)

not sure which word I like better HAHA

She is coming along good....I do love her BIG eyes!

I'll be back tomorrow after I frame and take photos.

Good Morning!!

I just finished a quick design called

"Cherry Blossoms and The Hare"

The words "Hello Spring " are also in the cross stitch pattern!!

It will be available in a couple of weeks. 

I have to wait for photos and then the printer.

would like to preplan for stitching this design:

Stitch Count 42 x 71 for the “Hare scene “

Design size was 3 x 5.07, I did stitch over (2) linen threads for this model*

*This will fit into a 4 x 6 frame....that is what I used!!

Stitch Count 142 x 25 for the words “Hello Spring”

Design size was 5.07 x .89 I did stitch this model over (1) linen thread

Sharing Pats stitching

 

Good afternoon, I wanted to share with you some stitching. 

 Pat from Lebanon PA finished

 "The Nubble" 

It is one of her and her husbands favorite places to visit, 

I told her I live so close but hardly visit.....

but when I do it is relaxing. 

Well I am off to the post office and the grocery store...the usual things haha!!

A Free Chart "An Appeal To Heaven" Flag

 

I have seen this Flag recently and I love what it stands for. I do pray for our Country and that it turns from the ways that it has been going in and I know that God is the only one that can revive it and turn it around.

This is a Free Chart for you to stitch and share with your Family and Friends, and I ask you to search the internet to learn about the flag and the times that George Washington was living in and how they reflect on our times today. Here is a quick note for you on what I pulled together.

The "An Appeal to Heaven" flag was the first flag of our nation and was flown by George Washington's navy in 1775. It was also flown throughout the colonies during the Revolutionary War as a declaration that their only hope was in the God of Heaven. The phrase "An Appeal to Heaven" implies that when all resources and justices on earth are exhausted, only "An Appeal to Heaven" remains.

The Inspiration for the Freebies

Rose asked me about the inspiration for the Words that I gave away and here goes!!

"You were born for such a time as this" is from the book of Esther in the Bible. She was a Jewish girl that was made Queen, (The king did not know that she was a Jew).  She found out there was a plot by Haman to have the Jews killed. So she asked for a 3 day fast from her people and after 3 days she made a plea to the King to save her people and tell about the evil plan from Haman, and in the end the gallows that Haman had built to kill the Jews was used on him and his family. She saved her people by fasting and prayer. 

Her uncle said to her in Esther 4:14 that "For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

So we also have been born for Such A Time As This......we all have a Special purpose and a meaningful life to live, with PURPOSE!!

and on to the next Verse:

"It is well with my soul"  It is a song that I LOVE. I have attached a video from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir that narrates and sings about the life of the Spafford Family and Horacio's making of this song. 

Please listen to the whole thing...it is a moving story and one of great Faith
