Day!!, This is a free design that I gave away long ago in 2008,
I have revised it to give away today.
The
original was made to give to a friend as a Christmas Gift
but
I have changed the saying in the back to
“When This You See Remember Me”
There
is a place in the back of this floss tag for you to stitch your initials, along
with more small roses, hearts, and the saying.
I did make mine into a floss tag but you can
do whatever you would like with it!!
BE Creative
The
center for the roses and leaves is left blank for you to choose your own floss
centers.
The
outline for these areas is in the design but the centers are up to you.
I
used some over-dyed floss and some different stitches such as eyelets and some
over one stitching.
The
stitch count is 49 wide by 35 high for one side
28ct
over (2) or 14ct Aida 3.5 x 2.5
32ct
over (2) or 16ct Aida 3 x 2.18

Since I am not going to the Nashville Show myself,
Yarn Tree will be taking one of my
new designs called "A Homestead Welcome"
It has a little Country Feel with my favorite sheep, some extra tall and different trees
also, I added a Primitive wool applique like border, but yes, it is cross stitched.
I designed mostly with DMC with a couple of Weeks Dye Works added.
They are "Blue Spruce & Gold"
If you are interest in this new design,
ask your Local Needlework Shop to order it for you from Yarn Tree,
I will not have it available until sometime in April 18th.
The newsletters just went out and this was one of the announcements!!

I wanted to introduce you to something new that I will be carrying.
By The Bay “Collector Pins”
Lots of people collect things, especially cross stitch charts,
fabric, and all sorts of fabulous fibers,
along with magnets to secure their needles.
So I thought why not “Pins/Brooches”!!
The first one that is being released is “I Am A Needlesmith”
This cute pin measures 2 ¾ x 1 ¾ , A great size to pin on a jacket or on a stitchers project bag, or maybe start a collection and display them…or to keep with your framed counted cross stitch piece.
The next one for release will be the “Funky Flower Collection”
as a whole design with the white background
…this one will measure 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ inches.
Keep an eye out for them and check with your local Needlework Shop.
They will also be available in the By The Bay Etsy shop .
They will be heading out to shops Feb 14th
