Our night of making gingerbread houses

 

It was fun making gingerbread houses with my girls.

They had the cutest kits ready for everyone. 

Addie and Meagan working and enjoying some candy along the way.

My finished house, 😏I never really made a gingerbread house but I thought it would be fun to hang out togather and create something with the girls. The base for the house was an empty small milk carton and graham crackers for the walls along with the ice cream cone for the tree and lots of fruit loops and m and m's 

After that it was Hamburgers at The Hamburger Shack in Kittery.

It was a great night to make a memory😊

An new start

 

Happy Tuesday to all!!

I want to share a new start that I have,

I am still in the mood for the RED from the SAL 

so that is my first design with the flowers and vase 

(Since you all know I LOVE Flowers)

After the red design I thought I should spice it up...

so I added color!!

And then thought "Well I have more fabric left..why not add more to the design"

And I did!

I added a little white hose that I thought would Pop on the fabric, 

and then Hmmmm!

I need something on the sides, 

well I usually add trees but how about some vines instead!

I have lots of fabric below the House so lets keep going!!

And then there was the little white fence....

and I do have more designed but this is all I have stitched to date.

it;s a bit slippery here today and rainy, 

On our way this evening to the community center 

to make gingerbread houses with my  daughter and granddaughter.

And our trip was wonderful :)

 

  

We had fun shopping but it was so Cold and Windy brrrrr.

Meagan LOVES to shop a bit more than me haha but

 as long as I got to go to the Book store and the chocolate shop 

we were all set :)

They even had some ladys wrapping gifts for free.

It is always a nice time in Bridgton especially Ladies Weekend.

The cabin is so cozy and I got some stitching done and Meagan got some coloring done. 

That is what relaxes her 😊

Well that is my sharing for today.....

I am starting to get over the worst coughing cold I have had in years....

seems to being going around, 

AND

today was the kickoff for the Stitch A Long..

It's been a busy day but a grateful one!!
