I'm still working on finishing my frame for the next cross stitch release. I promise to have it finished for a posting tomorrow.
Here's a picture of one of the things I just posted on my Etsy.

Well I'll be stitching all night. I've made myself a fake fireplace to stitch in front of. I've been wishing all week that I could go some place like a log cabin with a fireplace, just sit on a cozy comfy chair, not be bothered, and just stitch all day. Well I'm using my imagination except that I have to put the lights on to see.

Have a good night,
Donna
another nice piece for your Etsy store! I hope things are going well there for you!
ReplyDeleteLove your fireplace...nothing wrong with pretending:)
I love the fireplace. Here in Texas it gets cold enough one day a year for a fire!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.
I like your fake fireplace actually -- very pretty. I liked the porcelain man and woman holding hands, like hey are dancing -- very sweet! My DH passed away 10 months ago, so fireplace fires and thinking about couples (me and Rog) is very special. I hope you enjoyed your stitching by firelight! In NM it gets pretty cold in winter, and I really do love a nice toasty fire - the atmosphere it creates is very cozy and nostalgic. Now if I could only find some good walnut to burn in the fireplace. My FIL brought some firewood for us one year, and I am almost completely out. He lives in Mass. so not just a quick trot to get him here to deliver fire wood. Ha! I am enjoying reading and looking at all the past posts on your blog!
