Sneak Peek @ Halloween Cove & New Designs "Funky Flowers"

Good morning everyone. I have been busy stitching up Halloween Cove for a July release. I thought I would share a peek. Not ironed though, cant bother until I am finished. Look at those huge pumkins hanging from the tree. Oh soooo scary(Not Really)!!
And I am excited to tell you about my new designs coming out called "Funky Flowers". I am having so much fun designing these. I am going to have at least 13 and I will release one a month. They are 3X5's stitched on 28ct over 2 or 14ct aida fabric. I am making some vertical and some horizontal. You can stitch them each separate or stitch them all together as one big funky design. Very colorful and full of polka dots and so much more. These would be great to teach to your daughters. If they like flowers (Crazy ones)
Oh well I am going back to work and as soon as I have one stitched up I will share it. Good Day

"Mermaid Cove" New Design Finished and Framed

Here she is. I tried to make her to fit into an 8 X 10 frame. Well I wasn't thinking that an 8 X 10 is never an 8 X 10 opening. So the opening for this frame measures 7 1/4 X 9 1/4. The design just fits to the edges. (I am just glad that she fit) I did pick up the frame at Michael's. Hope you like her. It feels so much like summer.

All In The Family (Starting Them Young)

Good morning
I wanted to share a photo of my grandson from this weekend. My husband thought it would be great to have him wear my glasses and pretend that he is stitching my new mermaid. It was so cute I couldn't stop laughing. What a helper!!

Peek @ Mermaid?

Here is my sneak peek. Just little bits and pieces and tomorrow I will post the whole picture. I just realized that while I was ironing the model I think a french knot came out on the mermaids body. Its all framed and everything so I guess I will try to fix it from the top very carefully. An operation for her. Wish me luck!

Good Morning. I have been very busy with my husband still in and out of the hospital and trying to finish my latest. It will be called "Mermaid???" As you can guess I am not positive on the name yet, but it is a mermaid. I am on my way to pick up a frame. I will post some peeks later this afternoon. Check back

All Things New

Good morning everyone. I have a finished photo of my latest design. And I finally gave it a name. "All Things New". With this chart I have included a free chart of the same design but with the saying All Things Are Made New. 2 Corinthians 5:17 It does not have the ocean background, just the mound and the flower with 2 hearts. So you can stitch both or just one. I thought it would be great for spring because everything is made new again and we can all use a little newness in ourselves. If you have a chance check out DMC's blog. They have some pictures of my stitching area. They asked me what I could share and I only have my chair and a side table close by were I keep everything that I need to stitch the models. I can stay close to the family that way. Goodness knows they hate all of the time I spend on the computer. My other favorite seat is a bench in the park by the ocean. Yes We Sometimes Must Make Lemonade

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, just making all of that lemonade. I haven't even had much time to read other blogs. I will have my time soon, but not yet.
