Here is another peek at my whaling picture.
I got a call today telling me that there were fireman and policeman at the building were the shop is. So I went to check it out and there appears to be to much snow on the roof. The ceiling tiles are falling in the shop next door and the awnings are pulling from the building. The firemen were there to brace them and board up the glass that might break under the pressure. So they are bracing my side too and I don't know if I can open tomorrow or not. We will have to wait and see. I'm sure it will be OK.
I will let you know more tomorrow,
Have a good night

Sounds like they were able to stop any more damage from occuring. They should have all that snow off of there by the time you're in tomorrow. I'm so glad you didn't have any damage.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another peek. Love those ships!
I sure hope everything is ok at your shop. We sure have had a wild winter so far. By next week we'll probably have some ice around. Be safe.

That's a lot of snow on the roof! I hope everything is OK with your shop.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful sneak peek. I really can't wait to see this one!
I'm glad it's the weekend and they found the problem without anyone inside your shop. Hopefully it will all be cleared soon with no damage.
ReplyDeleteHere's to hope that your shop survives the snow! Stay safe even if you are able to open.
ReplyDeleteOh deary me, it sounds as though you have endured a horrid winter! I hope that your shoppe survived without even a wee bit of damage. Perhaps it is time to sail away to warm shores on your lovely sailing vessel?
ReplyDeleteWarm smiles...Judy
Hope everything is ok with the shop. Did the firemen not remove the snow from roof and awning while they were there shoring up things?
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching!
Oh, I 'm so sorry to hear this. Sending you our warm breezes to help melt the snow!
ReplyDeleteI hope all is okay, and can't wait to see the finished whale cross-stitch and also cannot wait until Peony Hill is available.
