So Excited :) and another peek

I just want to thank everyone that replied and will be joining the SAL. I am so overwhelmed by the response. :)  I have been working on mine so I can post a picture of it on Saturday. I have my other stitching to do too so I got a head start. Sorry!! But I think you will like it. I used some French Knots because those are my favorite and I tried some drizzle stitches in the center of the flowers,  I will give you a link to a video that can teach you if you would like to try some. I am stitching mine on white.  (But you can always just cross stitch if you prefer) :) No STRESS just FUN!!

Free Mystery Sampler Stitch A Long * Please JOIN the summer fun

Happy day to all of you.

I have seen so many people making mystery samplers and I thought I would make one for you to work on this summer.

This is a free STITCH A LONG. I would love for you to join. 

PLANS: Class Prep will be gathering all of your supplies and I have a list posted for you below. 

The stitch a long will start on June 1st  with a 1/4 of the design being  posted for you to download.

The theme is summer and it is surrounded by flowers (that was a hint) :)

The Stitch Count is 56 X 84

I am working mine on 28ct linen over (2) and the design will measure 4X6 and will fit perfect in a 5X7 frame. (Always thinking of you)
I will be adding specialty stitches but if you prefer you can always just cross stitch your design and you can also use 14ct Aida cloth or whatever you would like.
For the colors of 961, 962, and 3716 they are the 3 shades of pink that I choose but if you would prefer to change the flower colors to match a special room please do!! Those are the floss numbers and symbols that you would substitute. (They are also BOLD and UNDERLINED on the floss list)
One more thing you can pull your floss and pick a fabric color by laying them on top of different fabrics. The peek below might be helpful. You can also wait until you can download the Stitch A Long 1/4 mystery chart.

I am so excited to share this free chart with you as a summer project and check back every Friday in June for the pieces of the puzzle.
I would also love to start a page to share your pictures of your progress. So if you are going to follow just leave a message so that  maybe you can find some other friends that will be stitching it also .

I just pinned so much on Pinterest  Check it out there are so many ideas for crafts, crocheting, sewing, and getting organized and yes I even have a board for those far away places we wish we could go to. (Imagination Time) :)) I also love birds and flowers. Its eye candy and if you have time link out to the sites and check out some of the tutorials that some people have.

A little crochet for me

I have the crochet bug again. I started a few tiny roses that I hand felted with warm sudsy water. I have to roll them together to make the roses and then I am going to make a pincushion with them. Like a garden. Check out my Pinterest because it is so much fun.
I will post the newsletter tomorrow and that will be the last one for the summer. I will still have Etsy specials but I will tell you about those on this blog. I am working on classes for Yankee Cross Stitch, and Camp Wool at the moment. I will post pictures and dates soon. Have a great day

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all. I picked up my mom today and took for her favorite food, fried clams and scallops. It was so good. I made her a card this year just like when I was little.
I'm sharing some photos we took on Friday. It was a walk on the beach day.

I think I need an IDEA JOURNAL!!. I have so many (ideas) that sometimes I just cant sleep. Need to get them out of my head and down on paper. But I am so fussy that  I have to wait until I find the perfect journal, the perfect pen.  Some people love shoes and my thing is pens, notebooks, and pocketbooks. They have to be all organized :) and fit perfectly. It hasnt happened yet that's why I am always on the search.

I Am back

I missed everyone. I am back from Celebration of Needlework. I met so many wonderful people and I learned so much too. I always go with an open mind and look for the opportunity to help people whether it be with stitching or to encourage them to grow in their business. I loved everyone new that I met and of course meeting up with old friends is great. We had so much to catch up on. I brought my daughter Meagan with me and she was such a help. Always nice to have a little time away.  Some of the classes were not to full so we had a lot of one on one teaching time. Did I mention that I learned too? Yes, I did and I came home with so many more venues to teach at and more directions to follow.
But I did come home to a sick computer!! She had a virus and had to go to the computer docs. All fixed but I have many emails to answer and work to catch up on. So if you sent me a message I am sorry if I did not answer yet, I will get that done today. And hubby came home from the hospital last Tuesday so he had plenty of rest during the long weekend being home alone with the cats. (He so loves them)
Newsletters should be coming soon with more charts, and felted wool kits so keep your eye open.
