Peek @ Serenity Harbor "Thank you" kit

What a beautiful day here!!!
I sent out my latest newsletter and spoke about Yankee Cross Stitch closing in a month or so, so I had to pick up my models that were displayed there. Check out Erica's shop if you are in the New England area, she has 50% off . Here is a link to her site for directions

I have been arranging them here on my Porch/Studio....it has been fun arranging them since I am one of those people that is constantly moving furniture at home. I must stand there and just look around and think of what should move here and there, what will fit the best, making sure I am making use of every spot on the porch.......well here are a couple of pics of my progress.....I still do not have a date yet to open but it will be within 3 weeks.....God willing :)

I really loved stitching this design, and I loved the fabric color, a bit stormy. 

I can feel myself sitting on the lawn looking out at the ocean and smelling those beach roses, and yes I cant forget the warm ocean breeze.

Peek at "Home By The Sea"

just a peek :) I am using "Picture This Plus" 32ct Haunted, I love the look with a sea scene. 

.....and the winner is Pilarin , thank you to everyone that left me a message and I hope you are having a happy spring.........i am going to pack my gifts in an envelope and away they go to Spain to live by the Mediterranean Sea. 

I am in the middle of a terrible cold, but sitting outside today was a blessing.....the fresh air was so nice...it was a long winter.

We are getting Sec #5 ready, all printed, bagged and getting things ready to mail to shops....always better to be ready early :)

Stitching away on a new design called "Home By The Sea", I will share a peak tomorrow.....and don't forget that if you are interested in "Serenity Harbor Sampler" you can still sign up but the deadline to be eligible for the free kit(a gift mailed out at the end of the year) is April 15th. 

I am busy making plans to order supplies.....and I will email everyone a questionnaire for the info I will need to make your kit personal.....so watch for them sometime this week.

Having A Think Spring Giveaway

We are still having snow but that will not stop spring from coming because God says their is a season for all things and I now spring will come soon :)

So in celebration of all things flowers I am having a GIVEAWAY!!

Serenity Harbor Update

Happy Tuesday, I see the sun, YEAH!!!!

I have an update for the Serenity Harbor Sampler SAL.....I need to make a cutoff date....this is for the  kit., This means that you can still sign up during the year but have to catch up with the purchase of chart sections....the cutoff date is for the Free Kit that is to be included. I need a count for supplies and names and birth years so I can make these kits special....in order to do this I need to have a cutoff date....so if you are still thinking of signing up..... this date will be important for you.......No more free kits offered after April 15th...

Happy day to everyone, I finished the new design called "Think Spring". She is becoming one of my favorites, so cheerful and happy, all she can think about is flowers.......the bees and butterfly's are sharing in her bouquet too. 

 Working on directions today and she will be ready next week. 

Since This Is The First Day Of Spring, (I think).....you cant tell by looking outside yet!!

Ok, I couldn't wait to show you the rest so I just sped up the days 7-10 :)

These are the 9 finished designs for Spring, I hope you enjoyed them and charts will be ready late next week. They were so much fun finishing as little embellished pieces.
I was at Yankee Cross Stitch the other day doing a little arranging and adding more charts to the endless trunk show.......check it out if you are in the area.

Have to pick up my grandson from school today and pick up charts from the printer.....then it is time to fold and bag.......I cant wait to share with you a peek of my next quick crazy spring design. I should have something to share by Sunday......have a good day!!

Stitch An Inch Spring Orni Day #6

Stitch An Inch Spring Orni

This little pillow was made with no particular size in mind. I placed my fabric on the table with  the cross stitched piece... I moved it around until I found a spot that was just right :)

I stitched it in place with a whipped stitch and then embellished the fabric design images with stitching.........using stem stitches, french knots, and lazy daisy stitches.........added some buttons....then stitched a piece of backing fabric (I always use a piece of wool..so my edges will not  fray)..........turned the right side out and stuffed with fiberfill....but walnut shells would be a great idea too. 

I did the cross stitching on 28ct natural linen over 2 with 3 strands of thread. 

So these Stitch An Inches are really 2 inches.
