Oh No! They can't find my bag!!

Thank you for your comments. My husband has had a bone marrow infection and was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. He was sent home with a pic line in his arm so that he could have his antibiotics go directly into his vein close to his heart. He's had that at home for about 5 weeks know, but started having some pain under his arm and they had to make sure he didn't have a blood clot. He does not have a clot and he's just resting more at home. The infection is finally subsiding but it's put a burden on his liver and know we will see a liver specialist next week.
But!!! I went to the hospital to pick up my bag and they can't find it. They're not sure who said they had it, but they said they would search. They also said they would pay for my glasses if it doesn't show up. But my new design was there, and my new eye glass case. Well I guess I have to start stitching Decembers release all over again just in case it doesn't show up. I'm determined to make it no matter what. But on a good note, I took my daughter to the dentist (it's been a while since she's been - she hates the dentist) and no cavities. Yeah!!
Have a great night.

  1. I hope your husband improves - and I hope they find your bag! (and don't mention cavities - I have to call the dentist tomorrow for an emergency appointment) ugh.

  2. I wish all the best to your husband and I hope they do manage to find your bag. Good luck with the new design.

  3. Yikes! I'm so glad your DH is doing okay and will keep crossed fingers for the upcoming appointment with the specialist.

    I'm so sorry you got your hopes up, only to discover they did not have your bag after all! What a disappointment!!!

  4. Oh no! I was so happy for you yesterday!!! My goodness, I hope your DH improves and doesn't suffer too much with the liver. I'm so sorry you're looking at stitching your hard work all over :(

    Oh, dear!! Best wishes for your husband's recovery, and I do hope they find your stitching bag. It's like missing a piece of you, I know.

  6. Oh my gosh Donna! Keeping your husband in my prayers and you as well. How awful for you to lose your stitching bag on top of that! I hope it turns up or some kind model stitcher helped out with your model. : ) Now I can't wait to see what the design is. Please take care!

  7. I hope your husband is much better soon.

    I do that they manage to find your bag.

    Hope your hubby is doing well soon! That really stinks about your stitching bag, too... it's hard enough to go through a spouse's illness.

  9. Sending lots of prayers for your DH and you and your family, Donna! I hope everything is okay with him...

    So sorry to read about your stitching bag... :-( Mayhap it will still turn up... Here's hoping some kind-hearted person finds it for you!

    Sending you lots of Love and {{{Hugs}}}

  10. Goodness, Donna, what a dreadful time you and your family must be going through. Best wishes for your husband.
    I do hope they find your bag. Best of luck with your deadline stitching!
