Happy Holiday Weekend

Hi . I am sorry I haven't been able to post any pictures lately, my daughter and I share a camera and she left in her bag at a friends house that we have not been able to get to yet. So I have things to share but I am not able to do it. I really love to visit other blogs and see pictures of what people are working on or just to see their photography, so I am frustrated that I can not share yet, but hopefully soon.

I feel the change in the season: the colors, the air is crisper, the wind is cooler, the bugs(crickets chirping, spiders making webs), squirrels and chipmunks gathering food, and of course the sun is setting sooner. It always makes me settle down and think about life. I think it's because I've had so many major changes in my life in the fall, it's my time of refelction. But I do TRUELY love fall.

Winters nice too but really I can do without the weather that I have to drive in. Thankfully my job is only 1 mile from my home, it used to be 25 miles but I changed that, it was so stressful and I felt I was wasting so much of my time driving. I wish everyone's job could only be 1 mile from their home for them, but some people do like the drive, I guess it's their alone time.

Right now I'm watching the cat go crazy, running all over the place, which she will soon settle down for her nap.

I hope you have a great day and I will post pictures as soon as I am able,

Love Donna

  1. Donna, you and I share a love of Fall/Autumn. I tend to reflect that time of year as well and that's when I begin planning for what will happen next year. I look forward to you getting your camera back!

  2. I would have to say I am partial to the Fall also. I love to wake up with a bit of a chill in the air. I also live in New England and I love our fall foliage. Good luck with the camera..can't wait to see some new photos.

  3. Fall foliage is natures art to us! This is a favorite time of the year with scents of cloves, cinnamon, and baking swirling in the air. Can't wait for your pictures you'd like to share!
