Very pretty! The first title that came to mind was Spring Leap or Spring's Leap.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really pretty pattern; I was thinking Flora & Fauna. :)
ReplyDeleteStag Frolicking in the Garden is my suggestion for a name
ReplyDeleteAnother suggestion for the name is "A Stag Frolicking In An Overgrown Garden".
ReplyDeleteSummer's joyful play.
ReplyDeleteLeaping Lenonard is my suggestion very pretty design
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! How about "A Leap of Faith" as he looks as if he is jumping over water!
ReplyDeleteJump in paradies - my thought as I saw the design ;))
ReplyDeleteNature's Beauty. Love the design, and I agree reminds me of crewel work.

Oh, what a neat challenge! I love the Tudor/Jacobean eras - they fascinate me and I read about them whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your design (which I absolutely LOVE), I immeadiately thought of the symbolism it represents. (King James is rolled into all this - hence the "Jacobean" link to describing the essence of your design), but that would take too long to describe.
The thistle, in ancient Celtic symbolism, represents nobility of character, while the deer are from the fairy realm and, in Celtic lore, represent magic and spirit. From all this, I came up with "Noble Spirit".
WHEW! That was fun.
I suggest some: Mystical Flowers, Mystical Summer Flowers, Mystical Garden and Mystical Jumping Deer or Deer in a Mystical Garden
ReplyDeleteHart by the Water brook (from Psa 42:1)
ReplyDeleteI would like to submit BOUNDLESS JOY. Everything about the design is terrific, the colors, the pattern and the "feel". The buck himself can jump and play and go anywhere he desires (Boundless) and the feel is delightful (Joy).
ReplyDeleteThis pattern would be wonderful to do. It definitely brings a feeling of happiness with it.
Alternatively it could also be titled BOUNDLESS DELIGHT.
Thank you for your consideration, Betsy Minor, I stitch with Country Cupboard.
What about Stag Hill or Summer at Stag Hill?
ReplyDeleteThe deer symbolizes fertility and the growth rates. Appears as the mediator between heaven and earth, as a symbol of the rising sun and rises to its zenith. In your embroidery, the deer appears next to a pea plant ( I think) where all stages is shown: flower, pods, peas. So I propose as name: cycle of life
ReplyDeleteDeerly Beloved :D
