Good Afternoon,
Just an update if there has been a little confusion. I would love to invite anyone who would like to stitch any Funky Flowers to join our blog. You do not have to stitch all 24. I just made another layout for someone that would only like to stitch 3 flowers and I will be making more layouts this week.
Also if you would like me to email to you a copy of the layout I can do that too. Just tell me which one it will be that you would like to plant your garden in and I can send it to you. You do not have to join the blog. It would be great if you did so you could share your progress but you don't have to. We all have so much going on in our lives, I understand.

New Blog For Funky Flowers Gardeners

Bad Computer

Well its been only 2 days but it feels a lot longer.
My computer caught a terrible virus early Thursday morning and I had to unplug it and rush it to the computer doctor. It was going crazy, (BAD STUFF). It is back home. So I can answer emails and do all my work. YEAH!!!

Free flowers pins included with 1st 300 charts & a link to Camp Wool

Happy Monday.

I am doing a happy dance because for the past two days I have done almost nothing else but make paper flower pins, cut wool, and put together charts. And they are all in boxes and on their way.

I thought I would give a complimentary flower pin with the first 300 charts that go out. It was a great idea until I started and realized how much work it was, but I did not give up and they are done.

Here is a photo of some of them.


There are so many of them too. The charts are extra puffy because of the wool and the pins brightened them up.


But I didn't stay in on Saturday. I did take a road trip to "Camp Wool" in Kennebunk Maine to pick up some wool for the charts. So if you are ever in the area check up on LeAnn and her great shop, tell her donna said hi. She has a great shop. So much wool and tons of punch needle. You will have a great time.

I am going to clean up my big mess, and start stitching some Funky Flowers.

"Free Chart" *Star Sampler*

Here is my Star Sampler chart for you.
This would be great stitched up for summer or change the colors to fit your decor. It only has two colors. A lighter and darker shade of what ever would match your home. It would be great for Christmas too.
Here is a color photo and the chart. Just double click on the chart and copy from your computer.
It did print a little small for me but if its hard for you to see maybe you could use a magnifier or just have it enlarged. Sorry about that but I tried.

"Blossom's And Bee's" is the new name

I want to thank everyone who sent in their names for the new design. I appreciate all the time you took to reply. The winner is Bonnie with the name "Blossom's And Bee's". They were all so good and creative.

Peek at Bumble Bee ? Contest For Name (One Day Only)

Hope You all had a great weekend and today too.

I finished the design again after fixing my bee hive. Well my surprise with this one is that I made a wool bee hive on it to be a pin cushion for a bee collection. The chart will include the pattern and the wool to make the hive.

I will be selling the bee pins on my Etsy shop. They should be ready as soon as the charts are ready to go out. No two will be alike because I draw and paint them in myself and then I shrink them.

So here is the contest. I need a name by tomorrow early before I go to work, so by 7:00am. The winner will receive a bumble bee chart with wool in the mail before they are released to stores. So get thinking and you can also post the idea to me or email it to me at stitchbythebay@hotmail.com.

Happy Fourth Of July

I hope you all have a happy Fourth of July. What a beautiful weekend. The past few days here have been breathtaking. So nice and breezy with no humidity. We went to the Nubble and sat outside and shared food from Fox's Restaurant. We are at the age know that we share our meals. Hahaha. I love it.

I worked hard Thursday finishing the bumble bee design. I even had it all framed and then held it up far from me and saw that I stitched something down crooked. Ugh!!
So being me I had to take it all apart and start again. It looks better but I have to frame it again. So no picture of it until maybe tomorrow.

So when I post it again I will ask you for an idea for a name and the winner will receive a free chart of it in the mail before anyone else. But just one thing, the ideas that I did receive have the word cove or bay in it and I just realized that this one does not have any water, so no cove or bay.

And I have a free chart coming soon too on my blog. Its for summer. Have you seen those stars that people have on their homes or inside of their houses(there dimensional), well that is what it is with an alphabet sampler around it. So check back soon for some cool contest going on a freebie too.
